Composed of people from various backgrounds, the Ambassador Committee was brought together to support the Cultural Capital Bureau throughout this memorable year 2010. Ambassadors will need to play three important roles: representation, consultation and communication with the networks. In fact, they will first be asked to participate in different events in order to officially represent Saguenay, 2010 Cultural Capital of Canada. As ambassadors, they will then be called upon to give their recommendations to the City of Saguenay concerning the development of this extensive project. Ultimately, they will establish exchange relationships between the spheres of business, education, arts and culture as well as with the various communities by becoming message-bearers of the cultural capital, while keeping the City informed of their networks' interests.
